We just received a grant from the Webber Family Foundation in Austin, Texas, to fund an arts and educational program for kids at risk.  Stay tuned for details of the program that will also work with PIP and Art2Heart as non-profits committed to making a difference with kids at risk.    PIP 2004 News Release

Wayne Kennemer Scholarship Fund     The winner of the 2004 Wayne Kennemer Memorial Scholarship is Drew Hubbeling, a senior at Tivy High School, who will be attending Oral Roberts University upon graduation. The award was presented on Monday, May 19, 2004, at a ceremony held at the Cailloux Center.

    Check in with the Schreiner University website. The annual PIP conference is at Schreiner July 23-24 this year. Kathleen Hudson, vice-president of PIP, is local coordinator for the event. PIP, Past is Prologue, is a program using the oral history of Paula Underwood as a basis for learning (Native American stories). October 16 is the day for the annual workshop.
